Vinora Terms of Use

Vinora involves the discovery and discussion of alcoholic beverages. You must be 18 years or older — the legal drinking age in South Africa — to create an account.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login details secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Check-ins are verified using your device's location and, where available, a winery's QR code, to confirm you're actually at the estate. Attempting to falsify a check-in (for example, spoofing your location) may result in badges or rewards being revoked and, for repeated abuse, account suspension.

You retain ownership of the photos, tasting notes and reviews you post. By posting content on Vinora, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app to the audience you intended (for example, publicly for a public wine review, or to your friends for a check-in photo).

Don't post content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to share.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse. Hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise abusive content is not allowed, and neither is abusive behaviour toward other members. A content filter blocks the worst language automatically. You can report any review, comment, photo or profile, and you can block any member so you no longer see each other. We aim to review reports within 24 hours and will remove offending content and remove or suspend members who abuse the platform. Winery profiles may be created from publicly available information before an owner claims them. Claiming a winery requires verification that you represent that business. Once claimed, you're responsible for the accuracy of the content you add — photos, wines, hours, events and promotions.

We reserve the right to review, reject or remove a claim, or to remove content, where we reasonably believe it's inaccurate, fraudulent, or violates these terms.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) via Paystack. Prices are shown in South African Rand unless stated otherwise. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing page; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Founding-member pricing, where applicable, remains in effect for as long as the associated subscription stays active and is not cancelled or lapses beyond any stated grace period.

Don't use Vinora to:

• Impersonate another person or business
• Scrape, resell or redistribute Vinora's data without permission
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of the platform
• Post spam, harassment, or content that violates applicable law

Vinora provides information about wineries — hours, locations, wines and events — sourced from public information and from the wineries themselves. We don't guarantee this information is always current or accurate, and recommend confirming details (especially opening hours) directly with the winery before visiting.

Vinora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Hyperian Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Vinora, including issues arising from third-party services (such as a winery's own hours or facilities) that we don't control.

You may stop using Vinora and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Vinora after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
